The Altar Guild is one of the on-going working groups of St. Jude's. 

We consist of four teams of women (but men are also welcome).  Each team is on duty every four weeks. 

We try to keep the sanctuary, Lady Chapel and baptistry clean and ready for the next service. 

We change the hangings to the colour of the season, polish the silver and have the linens laundered.

We attend the regular services, and, when needed, weddings, funerals and baptisms.  

We also attend the Eucharist at the Wexford Seniors Residence each Tuesday.  

Usually, three members are present to bring wheel-chair residents to the chapel, assist those who need it, and take part in the service. 

We usually meet on Thursday mornings to prepare the church for Sunday worship or other services

such as weddings and funerals.  We also participate in the Ministry at Scarborough General Hospital.
